Alain Lascoux (born 17 October 1944) is a French mathematician at the University of Marne la Vallée and Nankai University. His research fields include algebraic combinatorics, particuarly Hecke algebra and Young tableau.[1]
Lascoux earned his doctorate in 1967 from the University of Paris, under supervision of Marcel-Paul Schützenberger.[2] He was an invited speaker at the 1998 International Congress of Mathematicians in Berlin, Germany.
